Olivia, a homeowner in Pine, Arizona, contacted Arizona Foundation Solutions after noticing water intrusion, mold growth, and signs of basement movement. Concerned about the condition of her basement and potential structural damage, she scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists.   During the inspection, our specialist confirmed the presence of moisture-related issues and recommended a comprehensive waterproofing system to protect the basement from future water intrusion.   To begin the project, the crew removed a section of concrete around the basement perimeter to create a drainage trench. A French drain system was then installed in a bed of clean drainage stone to capture groundwater and direct it away from the foundation. The team also installed a TripleSafe™ sump pump system featuring a primary pump, secondary backup pump, and battery backup pump to provide reliable protection during heavy rains and power outages.   Once the drainage system was in place, the trench was restored with fresh concrete, creating a clean, finished appearance while allowing the system to collect and redirect water seepage from the basement walls. To further protect the space, the team installed a CleanSpace® basement wall vapor barrier to help prevent moisture intrusion, mold growth, and humidity buildup.   With the waterproofing system fully installed, Olivia can now enjoy peace of mind knowing her basement is protected against future water damage, moisture problems, and structural concerns.
