This Gilbert, AZ home, built in 1995 was in need of a stem wall repair. The area around the deteriorated stem wall was excavated. We then chipped back the stem wall until good concrete was reached. Arizona Foundation Solutions Removed existing rebar and replaced it with NEVERRUST non-ferrous composite. We patched the area with a cement patch and the area that had been dug out was then backfilled to finish out the job!

The stem wall at the Chandler home began to flacking and cracking. This was due to the rebar becoming oxidized and weakening the concrete around it. We came in and installed our patented NEVERUST non-ferrous composite.

Mr. S. called us out to his historic district home made of brick because he was seeing significant cracks in the southwest corner of the home. We went out to his home to determine that we need to install 2 helical piers to stabilize and lift the southwest corner of his home. Here are some pictures of the work that was done!
Benzene off-gassing vapors were discovered in a multi-family housing project in Phoenix, Arizona. 153 Duplexes are being renovated from military to private housing. The Benzene solvent was used by the Army at this location many years ago and polluted the soil. The buildings are now pulling in Benzene vapor above an acceptable level for residents. The environmental firm that is overseeing this project advised the general contractor to utilize a Radon Mitigation company to install Soil Vapor Extraction systems (radon mitigation systems) to safely remove the soil vapor. That is when the National Radon Defense dealer Arizona Foundation Solutions got involved.
Bob Brown, Brent McIver, and Terry Henry from Arizona Foundation Solutions won this business due to their knowledge about this process they learned from National Radon Defense and their outstanding reputation. Our network is actively doing projects similar to this across North America. The General Contractor was very comfortable with a local company with national resources for this type of project.
In May, Arizona Foundation Solutions will begin installing Active Soil Vapor Depressurization systems to vent the harmful gas. The process is very similar to installing a radon mitigation system. Our customer called us out because he was in the process of selling his home in Surprise and when he had his home inspection done the insepctor had concerns about the stability of his foundation.
Victor Rivera went out to the home and was able to offer the customer an Engineer Analysis Report to see what the underlying problem was. After careful analysis, our engineering team determined that the customer needed 7 helical piers and crack stitching on the slab to stabilize and lift the foundation.
Our team was successful in helping this homeowner fix his foundation so his buyer's mind would be at ease when purchasing his home. Well done David Ortiz and team!
Our customer called us out to their home because they had an 8 foot long crack/split on the west side of their house. We sent our very knowledgeable consultant out to the home to give the customer an affordable solution to their problem.
We were able to repair the stem wall for the customer and they are very pleased with the results. Here at Arizona Foundation Solutions, our goal is to WOW! each customer and we definitely did here!
Arizona Foundation Solutions is the ONLY contractor that has a solution for heave. Our customer called us in because he had a crack in his bedroom floor and it seemed like his tiles were "hollow." We sent our consultant out who determined that further analysis was needed.
After careful analysis, we found that the home was heaving. With our MoistureLevel system, we were able to control the heave and help draw out the moisture in the soil to help bring down the heave for the customer.
This was a very affordable solution for the customer and he was very happy that we were able to save him a lot of money by going to us rather than our competition, who doesn't have a solution for heave.

Single story home with a Conventional foundation system. This home is located in Goodyear, AZ where it appeared to have settlement problems along the majority of the front portion of the home. There were many signs of stress shown in the interior drywall of the home as well doors miss-aligned due to the movement. When it rained the home owner would have storm water make its way inside the home.

8 Piles were installed at the site of the future Jim Beam Bar; set to open in 2018. Each of the Piles are capable of supporting 33k pounds and precise placement is required for even weight distribution. Once installed, measurements were taken to ensure the correct placement before moving to the next Pile. The entire process was overseen by Licensed Engineer, John Ciminski.
Arizona Foundation Solutions was proud to be part of this pre construction job!
After discovering the cracks on the east side of the home had been increasing, the homeowners contacted Arizona Foundation Solutions. During the initial inspection, this 1999 Gilbert home exhibited signs of a foundation issue, including:
- Floors out of level
- Drywall cracks
- Interior tile
To determine the severity of the problem and to compose the best possible repair plan, an Engineered Analysis was ordered. Upon completing an Engineered Analysis, we discovered the overall difference in the floor readings were 2.4 inches. Four push piles were installed along the northeast side to bring that area level to the rest of the home.
The underlying cause: (potentially) Broken landscape irrigation line.

One of our ACE Forensic Engineering Techs had a fun experience on his way home from work this week... We will let him tell the story in his own words:
“I was on my way home I stopped at Circle K and a customer came up to me and said we are super awesome we did such a good job on his home and he would recommend us to anybody That was cool he was just so excited I felt like a Rockstar even though I didn’t do the job myself!
We were in the parking lot and after I got in the car I thought about it… I should’ve asked him for his name. He did say it was three years ago (before I started working for the company) but he was just extremely happy to see an employee from our company and just thanked me it was just very unexpected. Feels good to work for a company and have people recognize and tell you that your company is awesome!”
