Did you know most of the air you breathe comes from your crawl space? Sometimes when your crawl space does not get encapsulated or regulated, humidity can even create mold or cause the crawl space to rot. Vented crawl spaces let hot air in the summer, which can hold more humidity than cold air, and the same when it is winter season. A non-capsulated crawl space can even make you pay more in your electricity bill in the summer and in the winter because the heat from the crawl space goes up and inside your house in the summer forcing the A/C to work more. This problem not only happens in the summer but also in the winter when vented crawl spaces let cold air in. Having an encapsulated crawl space not only saves you money in the long run but also improves the air you breathe, prevents the creation of mold, and makes a less liveable habitat for pests. Besides Crawl space encapsulation, concrete floor repair is one of our specialties since Arizona Foundation Solutions has the answer to your foundation problems all over Flagstaff, Arizona!

Why Choose Arizona Foundation Solutions?

Owner Bob Brown had had a passion for concrete repair and foundation repair since college, so in 2001, when he had the opportunity to create a business that could reflect those passions, he jumped at the opportunity. Bob has always kept his formula for success simple; he believes in using high-quality, practical solutions while only hiring the most qualified experts to implement them. Those beliefs are still applied today however, over the years, Bob has gained experience that has made his crews more effective and the products more advanced. Bob’s philosophy has grown Arizona Foundation Solutions quite a lot over the years and has gained the national backing of Foundation Supportworks. However, the business has always remained locally owned and operated to help the needs of homeowners in the Phoenix area.

Crawl Space Encapsulation & Repair

Crawl spaces are prone to moisture, mold, insects, and rodent problems. Crawl space encapsulation is always a good idea because your home might otherwise be at risk of a host of moisture-related problems. Crawl space moisture can affect the flooring, drywall, and insulation in the upper levels of your home. Sealing the crawl space prevents mold and mildew, creates a storage area, and improves home comfort and energy efficiency. Our trained crawl space repair professionals transform crawl spaces by combining effective waterproofing methods with a durable moisture barrier, effective air sealing, and high-performance insulation. The crawl space encapsulation process usually involves four steps: fix water seepage, isolate the house from the earth, seal outside air out, and dehumidify. We're long-time installers of the CleanSpace system, a transformative solution that includes an effective 20-mil thick, cord-reinforced moisture barrier durable enough to withstand foot traffic - it can last as long as the house! To fix floors over the crawl space that have sagged due to moisture damage, foundation jacks can be placed to lift and stabilize beams and floor joists in the crawl space. With no mold, rot, or energy penalties and fewer bugs and pests, a CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation home is less expensive! To learn more about the benefits of our crawl space encapsulation solutions, contact Arizona Foundation Solutions, your expert Flagstaff crawl space repair contractor, today! We offer free crawl space inspections and repair estimates.

Reliable & Cost-Effective Stem Wall Repair in Flagstaff

Stem walls are supporting walls that join the foundation to the vertical walls of the house. Stem wall foundations are often reinforced with rebar. A rebar is a steel bar to reinforce concrete foundations, slabs, and walls to help strengthen them under tension. When a stem wall starts to crack, this signals a possible problem in the rebar, often oxidation. Concrete foundations with rusting or exposed rebar can crack and cause serious structural problems and leaks in basement walls or crawl spaces. NeveRust™ is a reliable, cost-effective stem wall repair solution that uses a composite material that won’t corrode. NeveRust™ stem wall repair not only restores the safety of cracked reinforced concrete foundations but also prevents the oxidization that caused the cracks in the first place. NeveRust™ stem wall repair is available exclusively from Arizona Foundation Solutions and is backed by a lifetime transferable warranty against rust. Learn more about the benefits of our stem wall repair solution by scheduling a free initial inspection and cost estimate.

Job Stories From Flagstaff, AZ
Underpinning Installation System Down in Flagstaff, AZ

Situation: This house down in Flagstaff, Arizona, was settling in a fast way since the soil was unstable, and part of the house was sustained by a crawl space. The floor began to feel saggy and then started to crack in all directions. After noticing the foundation signs were only getting worse and more expensive to repair, the family decided to get some help.

Challenge: The main challenge was to find the most affected area by the settlement. Another big challenge was determining the current state of the house's foundation to predict how the whole structure would react after the underpinning installation gets done.

Solution: Once the whole area got analyzed, and our engineering department gave the specifications to work with, our crew installed the piers, and the foundation movement got completely reversed. Our foundation repair experts used steel piers to stabilize the foundation, allowing the house to settle back onto a solid foundation and prevent further damage.

Conclusion: After the repair was finished, the house was back to its original condition and was safe to live in. The family was very pleased with the results and the contractor was able to provide them with peace of mind.

Our house was built in 1931 by hand with local lava rocks. I don't believe any major renovations have been done since then. The house has settled quite a bit and we are wanting to do some remodeling but I don't want to start that until we know if the house can be leveled or not.

Our 1915 woodframe house with a stone foundation has some sagging occurring. We had some minor work done 10 years ago but continue to see signs of sagging in the center of the house. There is noticeable drop in the floor along with cracking on the plaster walls and some sticking of doors. We are interested in your previous history with woodframe historic houses in the Flagstaff area and if you would be able to assess and potentially repair the sagging. Thank you

I am reaching out on behalf of my company, Quality Connections, to address foundation issues in one of our group homes. The home was built in the early 50's and has been added on to a couple times. We have a mix of different foundations, which have been settling over time. We recently experienced a slab leak, which has accelerated the settling of the foundation from what we can see in cracks in tiles and walls. The foundation needs major repairs and we would like to know what options your company has.

Bought house 6 months ago. Inspection showed some wall and ceiling cracks. In December/January, cracks got bigger and gap appeared between kitchen cabinets and ceiling and new separation occurred in adjoining bath between wall and ceiling. Several interior doors became hard to close or wouldn't latch. Crawl space is dry with several cracks in ground. Contractor said foundation looks sound but some possible gaps between supporting beams and piers. Cracks/separation less pronounced now and doors are all able to close. One outside door is now swinging closed but didn't before. Would like an inspection and suggestions. We're replacing all the windows in the house in late June so also want to know all is sound before then.

I'm on a slab and the slab has dropped down 2 to 3 inches or so on the west end of the house. Wall cracks and Ipoorly fitting doors.
